Seasonal Colour

Robyn has a sure eye for the innovative fabric designs that form the basis of her signature style. Floral, abstact or geometric, her astute choices celebrate fine quality and outstanding style.

Robyn credits her ongoing success to the "absolutely amazing team" at her Garrett St. HQ and in her stores.

Beginning with a small retail store, the Robyn Mathieson label was first attached to Robyn's designs in 1987.

In 2009, busy Concept Stores on Featherston Street between the Hotel Intercontinental and the Old Bank Arcade, and at the City end of Ponsonby Road supply a complete range of Mathieson Design products and accessories. Italian leather bags, shoes and boots, and a variety of designer gifts are all on offer.

Bags Me First

They also exclusively feature Robyn's unique hand-crafted silver and semi-precious gem-stone Jewellery.

Following her national success at the Smokefree Fashion Awards in both 1997 and 1998, Robyn became a foundation member of the "Wellington Collection" and the "Walk On" series of fashion events in that city, while maintaining a national profile.

After showing at Melbourne Fashion Week in 2001, Mathieson enjoyed the support of a number of stockists throughout Australasia.

Recently Robyn has developed styles which are "Multi-wear". Dresses, tops and skirts that tie a multitude of ways to create several different unique looks. The Dune dress is an example from the A/W 2009 Range.

Innovative Robyn Mathieson styles are a regular feature in national magazines and newspapers, bringing fresh interpretation of seasonal trends, with her signature style.
